Taipei, Taiwan—May 27, 2010—Synology® Inc. today announced that the Synology iPhone® application DS cam version 2.0 is available for free download on the Apple® App Store. Users of iPhone or iPod® touch can now directly access any IP camera and stream the live view with the Synology DS cam application. In addition, DS cam now supports Apple iPad®, allowing iPad users to live view their IP cameras, take snapshots, and view recorded events from Surveillance Station and take advantage of the much larger screen size.
